Often referred to as “The Silent Killer,” Carbon Monoxide is an odorless, colorless gas that can be lethal in high concentrations. It is commonly released by poorly-vented or malfunctioning appliances.

Symptoms of CO Poisoning

  • Flu-like symptoms

  1. Immediate Action: If you believe you’re being affected by CO, move to fresh air immediately and call emergency services.
  2. Non-Emergency Situations: If the situation isn’t an immediate emergency, please call Bow River Gas Co-op at 403-654-2233. Our team will inspect the appliance in question for leaks.
