Gas Line Walking & Leak Detection Program – Spring 2026

Over the course of April and May 2026, Bow River Gas Co-Op Ltd. will be contracting Gas Leak Detection Inc. (GLD) to walk sections of our gas distribution system.

This work is part of government-mandated maintenance and patrol regulations and includes routine gas line walking and leak detection inspections.

What Members Can Expect

Contractors performing this work:

  • Will be driving marked pickup trucks
  • Will be employees of GLD, contracted by Bow River Gas Co-Op Ltd.
  • Will be able to provide identification confirming their authorization

Work Schedule

The majority of this work will take place:

Monday to Friday

However, crews may also work Saturdays if required in order to maintain the schedule and account for weather conditions.
